Micro Needling at a glance
Microneedling, also called collagen induction therapy, uses a pen with very fine sterile needles to create controlled micro-channels in the skin. This triggers the skin's natural healing response and collagen production, helping to soften acne scars, fine lines and enlarged pores. A course of 3 to 6 sessions, about four weeks apart, usually gives the best results.
What is microneedling?
Microneedling is a minimally invasive treatment that renews the skin from within. Tiny, controlled micro-channels prompt the skin to repair itself, producing fresh collagen and elastin. The channels also allow serums to absorb far more deeply than they would on the surface.
What can microneedling help with?
- Acne scars and pitted scars
- Fine lines and early wrinkles
- Enlarged pores and uneven texture
- Pigmentation, dark spots and dull skin
- Loss of firmness and elasticity
Safety and comfort
We use single-use sterile cartridges and apply a numbing cream beforehand, so most clients feel only light pressure or a mild prickling. Skin may look pink, like mild sunburn, for 24 to 48 hours.
Aftercare
Avoid makeup for 24 hours and avoid sun, swimming, saunas and strenuous exercise for two days. Use only the gentle products we recommend and apply sunscreen every morning.

Micro Needling: frequently asked questions
Does microneedling hurt?
With numbing cream, most people feel only light pressure or a mild prickling sensation. Bony areas such as the forehead can feel a little more sensitive.
How many microneedling sessions will I need?
Most clients need three to six sessions spaced about four weeks apart. Deeper acne scars may need more, sometimes combined with peels.
What is the downtime after microneedling?
Expect redness similar to mild sunburn for one to two days, and sometimes light dryness for a few days after. Most people return to work the next day.
Can microneedling remove acne scars completely?
It can significantly soften the depth and appearance of acne scars, but complete removal is not guaranteed. We set realistic expectations at your consultation.
